We condole the death of one of our directors — Ener Angarov

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ener Angarov, the Director of Africa and Middle East at the International ABU Development Foundation (IABUDF). He died on December 09, 2023, after a long illness.

Ener was a visionary leader, a passionate advocate for development, and a generous friend and colleague. He joined IABUDF in 2007 and played a key role in expanding the foundation’s activities and impact in Africa and the Middle East. He was instrumental in financing and supporting projects in various sectors, such as energy, infrastructure, health, education, and innovation. He also fostered strong partnerships with governments, banks, institutions, and civil society organizations in the region.

Ener was widely respected and admired for his professionalism, integrity, and dedication. He had a wealth of experience and knowledge that he shared generously with others. He was always ready to help, advise, and inspire. He had a positive attitude, a warm personality, and a great sense of humor. He touched the lives of many people, both personally and professionally.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Ener’s family and loved ones. We honor his memory and legacy, and we pledge to continue his work for a better world.
